Mark December 1st on your calendars as next Thursday evening is our second Living Room Lecture of the year. The theme for the night is ‘Domestic Objects, Technology and Practice’. Madelaine Morrison and Emily Gann will each be giving informal lectures, discussing aspects of their research that pertain to the space of domesticity, the objects used there and how all of it fits within a wider social and cultural framework. The lecture will take place at 7pm in the living room of 208 General Avenue, just across the farm from Carleton.   (http://maps.google.ca/maps/place?q=208+General+Ave,+Ottawa,+ON+K1Z+7T8&hl=en&ftid=0x4cce068367b34dc7:0xe59781278320dadb)
